HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL

A sub in one hand and money in the other spells prosperity for the New Year....so says my mother in law.

It's around 9pm, EST, on December 31st....the eve of the new year is upon us and I'm sitting back in my "man cave" while my wife and niece are out in the living room watching some chick flick. I've been taking the time to reflect on the past year as I watch the Thin Man Marathon on TCM.

All in all, we've had a pretty great year. Blessed with a new home, fantastic neighborhood, a new vehicle, friends, family, and health, there's really nothing I have to complain about.

As great as 2015 has been, I'm having even higher expectations for 2016 and am looking forward to new personal bests as well as making some changes for the better in my life. Hopefully that also means more frequent updates to this poor, neglected, blog.

We'll see how it goes.

If you're out and about, stay safe and here's to a joyous and prosperous 2016 to you all.

Happy New Year!!

A REPORT SAYS YOUR SMARTPHONES WILL DISAPPEAR IN 5 YEARS

sam1

As a result of rapid improvements in Artificial Intelligence technology, smartphones screen may disappear in the next five years according to a report by Ericsson. Making a prediction there won’t be smartphones in the next five years sounds like a rather bold thing to say.

Smartphones may disappear in 5 years, claims a report by Ericsson
Smartphones have become totally integrated into our lives and a lot of us find it rather impossible trying to spend a whole day without checking the screen like a hundred times. The report, titled 10 Hot Consumer Trends 2016 , says:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) will enable interaction with objects without the need for a smartphone screen
While the use of AI is definitely on the rise, it’s rather premature predicting the death of smartphones. A lot of things can happen in 5 years and the landscape might have changed the the idea of smartphones screen getting totally replaced with Artificial Intelligence sounds rather impossible.
Then, the study isn’t just a bunch of opinions formed based on assumptions and trends, Ericsson sampled real people–  these are 6,649 urban iOS/Android smartphone user from 13 different cities around the world.
smartsurv

A large number of those who participated in the survey think they would be able to interact with their home appliances the way they interact with people through Artificial Intelligence. 85% of these people believe wearable assistants will be the next big thing in the next five years.
Are we looking at a world dominated by wearable assistants, virtual reality and the likes? Without smartphones?
I personally think this won’t really happen, at leats, not in the next five years. Artificial intelligence might make us use our smartphones screen a lot less but no, it won’t eliminate the smartphone. Digital Assistants on smartphones like Siri, Cortana and Google Now are obviously getting smarter but then, they’re only going to augment the way we interacted with smartphones.

HOW TO REMOVE BLACKBERRY 10 ANTI THEFT PROTECTION

HOW TO REMOVE BLACKBERRY 10 ANTI THEFT LOCK

BLACKBERRY OS 10 ANTI THEFT PROTECTION

In this brief guide, I’ll be explaining how to remove or bypass the Anti-theft protection on your Blackberry 10 device in case you never set such or you forgot your login credentials. The Anti-theft protection is a security feature which is meant to help you track, block or wipe your Blackberry 10 device if it gets lost or stolen

Disclaimer! This guide assumes the device in question is not stolen. You are entirely responsible for whatever you do with this piece of information.

With the release of BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.2, your privacy and security are further enhanced with the introduction of Anti-Theft Protection within BlackBerry Protect.

Provided you have confirmed your BlackBerry ID, Anti-Theft Protection associates your BlackBerry ID with your device, and provides you with the ability to disable your device using a new Flag as Stolen option.

When used, Flag as Stolen will erase your device memory and disable your device, unless the BlackBerry ID which was used to setup the device originally with Anti-Theft Protection, is entered on the device.

In other words, unless your device is returned to you, no one else will be able to setup the device again since they do not know your BlackBerry ID credentials.

It was said you cant downgrade to 10.3.1 but i was able to discover Q10 10.3.1 that support all bb10 model with 10.3.2.2639 to downgrade.

Note: This security hole could get patched anytime.

To remove this Protection Follow the guide below..

1. Visit BB DEV. AUTOLOADER HERE  OR HERE DIRECT LINK

2. Select the Dev Alpha Autoloader that matches the phone whose Anti-Theft protection you are trying to remove
NOTE:      if you Already has file name called Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5.exe
it is Q10  auto loader but it work with all version of blackberry ... skip step 1.

3. Download the appropriate Dev Autoloader from the previous step. Your model number can be found under Settings › About › General

4. Turn off your BlackBerry 10 Dev device

5. Run the downloaded Dev Autoloader file as Administrator (Right-click > Run as Administrator)

6. When you see the prompt “Connecting to Bootrom”, connect your device to your computer and turn it on

7. If you have a password set on your device, type your password when you are prompted

8. The LED light should turn green and loading should begin. Wait till its complete (100%)

9. After your device restarts, complete the set up wizard

10. In the Dev OS, login or register a Blackberry ID in order to associate the device with a Blackberry ID

11. Download the normal Autoloader for the Blackberry 10 device at HERE

12. Load the Autoloader for the device

13. Follow the setup Wizard on the phone to start using the device

NOTE: if relock again after step 11 ... use step 1 and skip All
