HOW TO CHANGE STUBBORN MTK PHONE IMEI
If you are using a MTK device (Infinix,Tecno,Gionee etc) users and for some reason you have been unable to change your IMEI using the MobileUncle method, you have come to the right place. Note that you will need a PC/laptop using this method. Also your phone must be rooted.
TOOLS
> A PC/Laptop
> MTK Droid Tools. Download here.
> PDA net. Download here.
> A USB Cable
> Rooted Android phone
PROCEDURES
Step1 => Download and Install MtkDroid tools to your PC from the link above.
Step 2 => Download and Install PDA Net to your PC, this will automatically install the latest adb drivers to your laptop.
Step 3 => Open the MTK Droids application.
Step 4 => Connect your phone with USB debugging enabled to your PC
Step 5 => Wait for MTK Droid to load the details of your phone
Step 6 => Click the Root button (located at the bottom right corner)
Step 7 => When the process is completed, the yellow bar will change to green.
Step 8 => Click the IMEI/NVRAM button
Step 9 => IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 represent Sim1 and Sim 2 respectively. Just edit the new IMEI into the corresponding space and click replace IMEI
Step 10 => Unplug your phone from the laptop and reboot.
Step 11 => Dial *#06# after your phone reboots to confirm the new IMEI.
If you follow these steps accordingly, you should be able to change your IMEI easily. Note that your phone must be rooted before you start. If Mtk Droid tools get stuck after Step 6, just unplug your phone and restart Mtk Droid tools. If you need a working Blackberry IMEI just leave a comment below with your e-mail address, I will send it to you.

HOW TO CREATE CWM RECOVERY WITH MTK DROID TOOL

CWM is a custom recovery that allows you to perform certain operations restricted by the stock recovery. It allows you to backup and perform special tricks Mtk devices are devices running Mediatek chips. It is mostly run by chinese devices which offer low-budget and pocket friendly devices which include Tecno, Infinix, Innjoo, Gionee e.t.c.
TOOLS
Before we begin, you will need to download the following:
ADB Drivers - I would recommend installing PDA net as it installs any adb driver required. Downloadit here
Mtk Droid Tools - Download mtk droid tool
PROCEDURES
Install PDA Net on your PC and follow the procedures it prompts.
Put your phone in USB Debug Mode and Connect it to your PC
Start MtkDroid tools and wait for it to detect your device
The yellow logo at the bottom left corner indicates that your device is rooted, so click the root button and wait until the yellow logo changes to green. (If nothing happens after five minutes close the application and start it all over again and repeat)
Now, click on the root, backup and recovery tab, then select To use boot from phone and then clickRecovery and Boot . A dialog box would appear and prompt To make CWM recovery automatically , select yes
The tool will then create CWM and then another prompt would pop up and ask, Install created Recovery to Phone? , click yes
Finally the tool will ask to reboot to recovery mode, click yes and the device will boot to CWM recoveryand it can be seen that installation was successful

Download SuperSU.zip here and save it to your phone's SD card
Download TWRP for Tecno boom J5 save it on tour computer
extract the TWRP zip file and flash the recovery image to the phone using Sp flash download SP Flashtool here to flash the recovery
Boot the phone into TWRP recovery mode by Holding the Vol Up and Power button for 5 seconds
In TWRP recovery, Choose install zip from sdcard- to Choose zip from sdcard use vol up and down scroll up and down then choose the Supersu.zip file from your memory card
Scroll to yes and install, after a successful flashing go back and reboot.
You are now rooted!
GOTO Google Playstore and download root checker to verify your root status.
