Bob Weir Played Amoeba Records in Hollywood yesterday, get the 411, Setlist and videos here.
On Tuesday Bob Weir performed an intimate acoustic performance inside Amoeba Records in Hollywood, California. His presence was in support of his masterful new album Blue Mountain that is being released this Friday. It's his first solo album with all new material since 1978 and it could not be any better.
Before he played anything of his new record Bobby treated the packed record store and the masses who got to watch via a free stream with inspired versions of “Walken’ Blues” and Dylan's “When I paint my Masterpiece”. Then Weir delivered the title tune off “ Blue Mountain” to great effect. These timeless songs combined with Bobby’s stage in life are awe inspiring. The producer of the album Josh Kaufman then joined Bob Weir to play electric guitar for the remainder of the show.
