High Limit Vapor: Full Line Review

Today I have the entire line up of flavors from High Limit Vapor to share with you. High Limit Vapor is an online vendor out of Prescott, AZ.

HLV comes in 30 or 60ml glass, childproof dropper bottles with tamper evident seals. The labels are very nice and classy looking and have all of the information I like to see on there including a born on date that is on the bottom of the bottle. I really like to see that information and would love for all vape companies to put the born on date somewhere on the bottle. The VG/PG level is 70/30 and nicotine is available in 0, 3, 6 and 12mg. Pricing is very reasonable with a 30ml costing $18 and the 60ml is only $25.

Dean Ween uses his newly updated website Ask.Deaner.com to spew hate at Phish fans, LOCKN' and who cares.

Dean Ween uses his newly updated website Ask.Deaner.com to spew hate at Phish fans, LOCKN' and Yada,Yada, Yada

I am not a big Ween fan, Greg on the other hand loves them. I try and give them respect but it seems stupid shit like today keeps happening . Phish and their fans have always supported Ween. On one hand Dean has thanked Phish for covering "Roses are Free" and says it was a honor to open for them. Then on the other hand......There is ignornant shit like what he said on his website today. This is one way to get traffic to your newly designed website and I honestly think that is his motive. I just don't care! If you do or are just curious read his except below.

Now then, Lockn—Ween at a festival is something that leaves everyone half-hard—no one more than us. Ween for 75 mins, 90 mins, meh… When the sun is out? Forget it. I should be asleep still, and I usually am. Now all I knew about the Lockn Festival is that we were opening for Phish. I swear to god I had no idea it was 2 nights either. I was surprised to learn that one night we were headlining and the SECOND NIGHT we’d be opening for Phish. i’d be lying if i said that opening for Phish wasn’t a big deal. all i’ll say is that we really wanted to play our asses off in front of those guys, who we’re friendly with going back a long ways. call it friendly competition, but it exists with every band. read: i wanted to blow their fuckin’ asses off the stage and rupture their fans’ ear drums and harsh their “vibe”. so there it is. u happy now? i hate their fans, they hate Ween, and I wanted to kill them with our music and un-fuck their minds from their normal listening habits. that would be like trying to convince a gay man that he was really straight though. ok, i think i just crossed the line. don’t like phish fans, so next off……..

i mean I didn’t even know this shit til right when it was happening, the whole “headlining one night” and “opening for phish” the next. i thought it was one gig opening for Phish and that was it. not that it really matters because we prepare the same for every show. Any ideas that we made it “more brown” on one night than another is imagined. So we get there. The festival is different somehow than most—the stage rotates, the bands go right back to back on a spinning stage. in theory we coulda played medleys with the openers, and Phish, had they not needed 19 hours to set up. the first night we just played and played. it went really well. it was a new high for us at a festival. i felt like for the first time since the reunion we achieved at a festival what we do in clubs. it was fuckin’ rad. i left a lot of other of our fave tunes for the next night so we didn’t shoot our entire load on night one. The 2nd night rolls around quickly, we go out and deliver a measured ass whooping, but this crowd is somehow indifferent. they’ve taken a lot of shit from ween fans for many years, we are officially on the scale. we do in fact whoop their ass, but nothing compared to the first night when it was OUR crowd. basically they reacted to us like you would to any opening act when you’re waiting to see the headliner, who u follow around, altho i know we made many converts this night. and that’s how simple Lockn 2016 was for Ween. killed it both nights, but we were the opening band on the 2nd night. i could micro-analyze it but we came offstage feeling like we killed it and that’s how i measure a gig, on how we feel when it’s done. a 40 minute poopship destroyer wouldn’t have done anything but looked cool on paper. phish went on about 80 minutes after us—we didn’t watch them. i thought their long setup was a buzzkill from the vibe of the one-two punches of the other bands on the two days before they showed up, they brought EVERYTHING, production, lights, video, sound—it was excessive i thought.  we were too busy relaxing after 4 nights of gigs and being finally done. my favorite part was peter wolf from j. geils opening, we met before and he loves ween. he was the only dude at the festival i could relate to at all. like, the only motherfucker except the guys in my band that really understands rock and roll and is still doing it. a survivor, like me, and aaron, and claude, dave, and glenn.

Umphreys McGee shares another mash up from their studio album titled ZONKEY

Umphreys McGee shares another mash up from their studio album titled ZONKEY.

November 11 Umphrey's McGee  will release a new album made up completely  of mashups titled ZONKEY. Today, the band has shared another preview of the album sharing the track. “Can’t Rock My Dream Face.”

This studio album has been a dream of mine since U.M. began Mash-ups during their 2008 Halloween Show. They have kept the tradition going and have incorporated complicated covers to make practically new songs. Off Zonk they have already released”National Loser Anthem”, mixing Beck’s Loser with Radiohead’s National Anthem”. Also “Life During Exodus” mixing The Talking Heads and Bob Marley. This track incorporates Michael Jackson's”Rock with you”, “The Weekend’s “Can't Feel My Face,” and Fleetwood Mac’s” Dreams” to create”Can’t Rock My Dream Face”. What Umphrey's McGee does with their mashups is brilliant and this album will certainly showcase it. Thanks to U.M and Jambase here are some other Mash-ups

Electric Beethoven announce a four night run in Colorado.

Reed Mathis exciting new project ”Electric Beethoven” is currently on their first tour together and have announced a four night run in the Denver area. I have not been more intrigued to see a band in some time. They drop their inaugural album this Friday, September 30.
This supergroup is composed of drummer Jay Lane, keyboardist extroinoire Todd Stoops, guitarist Clay Welsh and of course Reed Mathis. They have announced the ambitious plans of performing Ludwig van Beethoven’s complete Symphony Number 3 and on the second night they will put their stamp on the composer’s complete sixth Symphony. They will then play in Fort Collins before ending their run in Boulder. I could not be more excited to witness this band. Bands such as this one is why I moved back to the mile high area. I could score weed in Memphis but to see music as exploratory as “Electric Beethoven”,  I would have to travel to Colorado. One can't vacuum seal a live performance yet.

Rich Robinson on Black Crowes' Future: 'Chris Is Done With It'

Rich Robinson gives a candid interview with Rolling Stone and is brutally honest about his opinion on Chris Robinson and the future of The Black Crowes.

Those hoping for a Black Crowes reunion will not like the new Rolling Stone interview with Rich Robinson. He and his brother could not be farther apart musically. It seems Rich really resents Chris’ love for the Grateful Dead. Even though he may be throwing rocks from a glass house considering he just finished touring as a hired gun for “Bad Company’. Rich was quoted in the poignant interview as saying
"He’s just into the Grateful Dead. That’s all he really cares about. He makes his records sound like the Dead; he hangs out with the Dead. It’s fucking crazy.”
He then goes on to say if it makes Chris happy that is all that matters, but clearly it's a bone of contention.
I always have said and written that The Black Crowes opening for The Grateful Dead in Tampa was the worst thing to ever happen to the southern rock band. Chris drank the kool aid and Rich did not. The Black Crowes were never the same band from almost that day going forward in my opinion. They began to burn through lead guitar players and change their Setlists. The year they did Furthur Festival it was apparent nightly that the brothers were musically miles apart. While Chris would always sit in with the other bands, I can't recall Rich sitting in with anybody during the dozen or so festivals I caught. Furthermore they started as the headliner and were moved down the marquee as the festival progressed until they were the second act as the tour reached the west coast.
Rich recently got the band together minus Chris and played plenty of Black Crowes' classics. Rich was quoted as saying  “Chris is done with [The Black Crowes] and we’re done with him, in a weird way. And it sucks, because that band could still do a lot of great things.” For more on this revealing interview head over to Rolling Stone.
