Blazing new trails in live electronic music, EOTO prides itself in an improvisation technique unlike any other. Groovy bass lines and rhythms are laid out like a highway map for which the duo adds layers of drum beats, guitar riffs, keys and live vocals through an impressive array of computers, midi controllers, routers, software, mixers and looping devices. |

Their rig, a spaceship of technology that might look more at home in on a distant planet, provides a platform for which EOTO can explore, unfettered by what their instruments alone can provide. Check out this Video atYouTube highlighting the duo's unique set up in action. |

The sky is the limit for what EOTO is capable of, and as a result, their unparalleled ability to improvise night after night is landmark (there are no pre-recorded loops, no backing tracks, and no pre-constructed songs in their live production). For this reason, the band has released a massive catalog of live music available at LiveDownloads, that purely reflects their craft, documents their changes, growth and adaptability in a rapidly changing musical culture over the last ten years. With more than 1000 shows in 48 different states, and over 700 recorded shows, the archive (along with their ever growing catalog of free music at SoundCloud) features live electro, deep house, dubstep and straight-in-your-face dance music recorded throughout their tenure. The collection is available for download from the band's official website, as well as at LiveDownloads, and reflects the history of the changing culture in electronic music, as it does the evolution of the band itself.
No stranger to the main stage, accomplished percussionist/drummer and DJ --- Jason Hann has performed with a diverse catalog of artists including Loreena McKennitt, Dr. Dre and Isaac Hayes. Throughout his career, he has sat in with members of the Grateful Dead, as well as pursuits with a handful of traditional West African bands and a spectrum world music performers. Michael Traviscut his musical teeth in the junior high school marching band playing the French horn in the early eighties. It wasn’t until 1995, when the drum kit found its way into his life, a moment that would shape his career forever. For more than twenty years he has held down the rhythm section for audiences spanning hundreds of thousands of fans with the wildly successful String Cheese Incident. |

Together they also share a long history transforming the rhythm section of the perennial jam unit, String Cheese Incident into a disco-worthy dance party of legendary proportions. Their mix of organic instrumentation, high-tech digital looping, and live mixing has fueled a new era of music fan who prefers music laced with heavy beats, bass, and electro sensibilities. The project has spawned numerous off-shoot projects for the duo while ushering in a new era of live instrumentation with mixing. |

Over the years, EOTO has taken home numerous awards including “Best Live Dubstep” at the Dubstep Awards in 2012 as well as multiple awards for their cutting edge visual show, and most recently ranked in the “Top 50 bands to see live” by HypeMusicFestivals.com. Hann was also listed as the number 2 live EDM drummer by TheUntz.com, and in 2016 EOTO was rated the top 3 best Projection mapping shows by ill-methodology. A number of incredible videos in both the studio and live are available for viewing on EOTO's video page at YouTube.
While EOTO certainly brings everything from a top-notch visual performance to house music, dubstep, and electro to the table - their music is adept as it is diverse. Experts at their craft, their performances explore unknown territories, mark new discoveries and leave their mark in every town they visit.
EOTO will return to Colorado for three nights this December with performances at the Belly Up in Aspen, the Gothic Theater in Englewood and will close out the year on Dec 3rd at the Boulder Theater. Tickets are available for purchase at www.eotomusic.com |

“This dynamic duo engineers music that many of today’s producers spend hours creating in the basement, but right on the spot in front of live audiences.”
