Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs - Kickstarter Alumni goes for greenlight and imminent release

Back in the '80s there were a plethora of Japanese anime kids TV shows translated for English markets and while there's still one knocking around my head that I can't for the life of me remember the name of, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs comes awfully close in look and feel... or maybe it's because they all did! Back in October '15, there was a successful kickstarter campaign to bring this

Well you'll be pleased to

Kingdoms and Castles - A charming city builder aims for a Steam Greenlight success

When I was but a young gamer one of my most favourite pass times was to build mighty castles, look after my villagers with food and housing, and defend them from attacking foes. This is probably why I was so hooked on games such as Castles and even The Settlers. So to find a game that is very similar but with dragons and vikings, in a world of charming detail I just had to give it a mention.

Halloween Jam 2016 - 63 games to play, including Castlevania remade in unreal!

Throughout the years there have been many game jams that have come and gone for gamers around the world to create a game specific to the theme. So if it's a Gameboy Jam for example, then the games have to look like a Gameboy game. One such jam which is still ongoing, the ' Halloween Jam 2016 ' really stood out, and it wasn't because of the amount of games on offer just 63 so far, but a

Backyard Team are hoping for a Steam Greenlight success this month, as they have just started a campaign for their rather lovely looking Adventure game ' Lost in Bardo ', which is in development for PC, Mac and Linux. Gravitus Minus - A seriously cool modern 'Thrust' for PC and Linux

One of the best Amstrad games I ever played with my dad, was the 1986 Firebird release of ' Thrust '. It was an extremely challenging vectored thrust game that required the best of your skills to tractor an orb out from underneath dangerous cave like landscapes. Most your time was spent blasting power stations or avoiding smashing into rocks but the game kept you hooked! Now a developer by the

Stranger Things - Hit '80's' style TV show but as an adventure tribute? YES!

You may or may not have watched Stranger Things on Netflix, but let me tell you it is one of the best TV shows of 2016. It has everything which made the 80's so good such as ET, Close Encounters, as well as JJ Abrams' Super 8 but ends up like a twisted Stephen King story set in a Spielberg universe. Me and my girlfriend were completely hooked pretty much right from the get go, so you can see
