Obviously he realised that wouldn't make for a particularly relevant review, so instead I got Stela II, fresh from La Moderna software house in Spain.
Stela II is, in fact, a new puzzle/maze game in which your mission, should you choose

Pentagram v.1.20 - Knightlore sequel ported to the C64 with a cool update!
In April of this year @hayes_maker did a great write up, mentioning Rod & Emu's C64 port of the ZX Spectrum classic ' Pentagram ', which originally was released by 'Ulimate Play the Game' in 1986. It was the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore and was played in an isometric viewpoint. Well after a number of write ups the

V*Bert - A rather wacky classic Q*Bert available for free!
In 1982 Gottlieb released a very famous game that had an orange character with a long snout as a nose, it just had to be the isometric arcade game with puzzle elements of ' Q*Bert '. It was so popular in fact it appeared on many systems such as the Atari 2600 and the C64 with a cameo appearance in Wreck-It Ralph. But today's game has turned Q*Bert on its head and is now known as V*Bert,

Invasive Species - A new ZX Spectrum game with a great intro tune!
Boy do we have a very unusual game for you today and this one is developed by The Death Squad for the ZX Spectrum! In what I'd class as an arcade puzzle game with a fantastic intro tune by Yerzmyey, you play as a yellow wasp like insect and must wipe out the other species before it's too late. Be warned though this is no easy game, as everything that's small in this game will be very painful
