Not quite on par with Bobby and Paul but without any air guitars whatsoever, Mike Gordon Joins Phil for the "Big Bass Jam" at Terrapin Crossroads.

Phil joined Phish on stage and Mike, on tour with Phish getting ready for Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco, stopped by Terrapin Crossroads. The night was a jam-filled event as promised and songs from both camps were played and a good time was had by all. Mike contributed with "555","Yarmouth Road" and Phish's cover, "Funky Bitch" and a big surprise came with a cover of Daniel Lanois's "The Maker" which the Jerry Garcia Band put it's own stamp on in the 90's.
The Grateful Dead portion speaks for itself with an amazing,"That's It for the Other One", a double bass throwdown if there ever was on and the requisite Sunday, "Samson & Delilah" not to mention opening with a Sunday Shakedown, which Grateful Music fans can appreciate.
With Jackie Greene, Jason Crosby, Barry Sless, and John Molo, as well as Nicki Bluhm backing up Phil and Mike how could you not "say thank you, for a real good time".
