Since Day's Between started on Jerry's birthday uncirculated soundboards of The Jerry Garcia Band and The Grateful Dead have been uploaded to bt.etree.org. Jambase has been all over this story and have done a phenomenal job bringing this gift to light.

Grateful Dead fans have labeled the period between Jerry Garcia’s birthday of August 1 and the day he died of August 9 as the “Days Between.” This year, the Days Between have been filled with previously uncirculated Grateful Dead and Garcia/Saunders recordings surfacing to the delight of Deadheads. The first batch included a bevy of Garcia/Saunders soundboards that never made the rounds as well as rare Grateful Dead studio rehearsals. A second batch featured more of the same, while a third batch focused on Grateful Dead live and studio recordings from 1966. Today, we look at the fourth of five batches of goodies which contains seven previously uncirculated Grateful Dead soundboard recordings from 1969 – 1972.
Unlike past batches, some of these are minor upgrades over previously available recordings but we’ve listed the seven of note and shared a streaming taste of all seven. Let’s start with the rarest of the recordings that surfaced in the past two days, a rehearsal session reportedly captured on January 23, 1969 at the Avalon Ballroom. The Grateful Dead work on such songs as “The Other One,” “Doin’ That Rag,” “Cosmic Charlie” and “Dupree’s Diamond Blues.” Stream “Doin’ That Rag” as a sample:
Up next is the other recording that never circulated in any form, the Dead’s session at Alembic Studios in San Francisco from September 17, 1969. The band was working on “Seasons Of My Heart” and “Sawmill,” both of which find Garcia on pedal steel, as well as “Cold Rain & Snow,” “Dire Wolf” and more. Check out “The Eleven”:
We continue on with what is thought to be the best available source of the Grateful Dead’s first show outside of North America, a performance at the Hollywood Festival in England from May 24, 1970. Enjoy a beautiful “Attics Of My Life” as well as a wild “Dark Star” > “St. Stephen” sequence:
We end with “new” recordings from the Grateful Dead’s week-long visit to the Academy Of Music in New York City from late ’72. These shows helped the group prep for Europe ’72 and feature many of the songs played extensively on that tour. First is the opening show from March 21, 1972. Sample “The Other One”:

The finale from this batch is a special night in Grateful Dead history – March 25, 1972. Not only did the Dead play two sets, but they played a third backing Bo Diddley. The set with Bo started off the evening and the second set was all Dead and includes the only version of “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” the band ever played (though it was a Garcia staple for his solo projects).
