Can't Stop the Train- A Tribute to Jerry Garcia has added a Vet to the Lineup: San Francisco Giants' Jake Peavy Teams Up with Phil for a Wonderful Night of Music to Honor Jerry and his Legacy.


Can't Stop the Train-A Tribute to Jerry Garcia hosted by the Jake Peavy Foundation and the Rex Foundation has a new special guest added to a heavy hitting lineup.




The Jake Peavy Foundation is joining with the Rex Foundation to hold a benefit at the Fillmore in San Francisco on Wednesday August,17th at 9:00 pm.  Jake Peavy, one of the starting pitchers for the Giants and massive Deadhead has announced that they are going to be joined by Phil Lesh to round out an incredible lineup of music. Proceeds are going to both foundations and to help The Larkin Street Youth Services, which has helped 75,000 at-risk youths in San Francisco, while honoring the memory of Jerry Garcia. The starting lineup has:

Jackie Greene
Col. Bruce Hampton
Cody and Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi All Stars)
Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit)
Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band)
Jake Peavy and The Outsiders
Phil Lesh 

It's going to be an amazing concert followed the next day by a Giants game vs the Mets on Jerry Garcia Tribute Day.

General admission tickets are now on sale for $60 at www.rexfoundation.org. Doors at The Fillmore for GA
will open at 8:15 p.m. on August 17th and the show will start at 9 p.m. VIP tickets for $155 and $500 can
